CTE/Workforce Project

Project between Collin College and Starlink
Course: Building Capacity of College CTE Advisors, Coaches, Career Counselors and Administrators (Courses I and II)

This is a one year collaborative project between Collin College and Starlink. Course II is slated to have 10 modules and 4 mini videos. I've worked on 2 modules for the course. The work done includes, research of topic, writing of content and script, and creating PowerPoint slides to be converted into a video.

In this module, we will talk about the importance of understanding how credentials stack, how workforce courses may or may not transfer, and how to guide students to select the right options for their education through guided pathways.

In this module, we will address the needs of underrepresented groups and special population specifically, ethnicity.

LO1: Identify the strategies and techniques to support the needs of students.
LO2: Identify the strategies and techniques to overcome the barriers to completion
LO3: Identify the different method institutions can implement to keep the students engaged
